When I returned the van 4 days later, he admitted it would need some heavy repairs but he would do an oil change for free to help me limp the van back to TN (closest mechanic listed above). With that aside, I have never had a bad experience when going here for parts.I have been told by locals that his father used to run a good business, but it has been in decline since he retired and his son took it over. I have gone here very many times over the past few years for parts and advice. The price may be slightly high at times but what do you expect when you own a german car.

They have the largest selection of used and new VW parts.Type Of Shop: VW Parts & Service 1 mile from the University of Alabama at Huntsville...... 1200 miles later the car lost power on the interstate and I had to be towed 300 miles back home.Took it back and they never did any diagnostics to find problem.They have a cozy couch in the lobby and are within walking distance of a hostel and "downtown" West Asheville (shops, food, drink, etc.).I've had a great experience with them 9 out of 10 times, and the time it wasn't we worked it out later :)Shop Rating: Above Average Recommended Report Date: Write a Review for this shop Anonymous writes: I have no complaints put a new engine in my 73 vw.
